The group Dokola began
its activity in 1997 when eight couples united to present a composition
of Czech folkloric dances, the "Czech Beseda", at the Annual Czech Ball
"Sibrinky" organized by the gymnastic association Sokol Montreal. Since
then, we have performed at numerous events in Montreal, Toronto, and elsewhere
in Canada and the USA:
